Gigapixel view from the summit of Seven Up Peak (elev. 8,169) in the Trinity Alps Wilderness west of Trinity Center, California. The peak is part of the Red Trinities, comprised of peridotite. Across the way is the snowy granite Gibson Peak w/ the core of the White Trinities to the west adorned with the first snows of the season. To the north one can see into the Scott Mountains & Marble Mountain Wilderness. Mount Shasta & Lassen Peak are also visible to the east. Most of the ascent up had a bit of snow, though the trail could be followed until I veered up a dry avalanche chute to the top.
