Sludnye Mountains 1

Sludnye Mountains is a ridge with the highest mark of 336.7 meters above sea level. It reflects the relief anticline associated with salt tectonics. At the top of the mountains and slopes of the ridge come to the surface limestone of Kazan and gypsum of Kungurian tiers. It results in karsting led to the formation of craters flops, lake-like depressions on the top of the ridge and the blind logs on its slopes. (A. Chibilev)
