A sunny view atop Sun Rock (approximate elev. 6,540') near Union Valley Reservoir, California.  The hill is a large granite dome that is characteristic of the Sierra Nevada foothills.  One can see the reservoir off in the distance as well as Big Hill, which houses a fire lookout.  In the woods to the east is a view of the Crystal Range which is not visible in this panorama.
