Jack Jones Annex Cave (exterior)

A view of the collapse pit entrance of Jack Jones Annex Cave near Tennant, California.  There is a north & south passage, both of which go less than 200 feet in either direction.  The north passage terminates at a massive breakdown, however there are glimpses of light as one can possibly squeeze through into a nearby surface collapse sink.  I used a rope to make it easier to descend into the pit as it is a 10' drop.  Except for a few snow patches within the pit, the above ground is extremely dry & dusty, looking like August, yet it is only April.
