Tadi Mountain (trail), Mituo

Tadi Mountain is a valuable natural resource endowed to Mituo. It was a military stronghold under long-term control until 2006 when the army abandoned the sentry post, and the place was de-regulated and handed over to the administration of Mituo Township Office. Then, “Tadi Mountain Nature Park” was established and the area was unveiled. In 2008, the township office invested more than $3,000,000 to complete the construction of the hiking and recreational trail, scenic lookout, planting and beautification project, connection roads, etc; it was then opened to the public for hiking and recreational activities.
