The Small Amphitheatre, Knidos, Datça
The Small Theatre had a capacity of 5,000 and was first built in the 2nd century BC. The current appearance dates to the 1st or 2nd century AD with modern restoration. The stage building, now ruined, was probably two stories high and had niches decorated with statues. Arched passageways gave access to the theatre.
