Top of mount Prinzera natural reserve

Mount Prinzera (736 metres) is located on the Parmesan Apennines between the valleys of rivers Taro, Sporzana and Baganza. It is a spur of ophiolitic rocks, ancient mixes of magmatic and metamorphic materials also known as green rocks. Downhill woods, bushes, valleys, untilled, gullies and small damp zones complete a varied environment.

The natural reserve named after the mount, span at an altitude from 300 to the top of the mountain where a big broadcasting antenna is located.
