During the beginning part of 2014 the UK experienced strong storms that contained a lot of rain. This resulted in a large amount of danage across a wide swath of the UK. Upton Upon Severn is situated on the river Severn (as the name suggests) and most of the time is a plesent river running through the town. Unfortunately at this time it was swolen by vast amounts of water coming from as far afield as Wales. By the time I took this the water levels had been this high (and slightly higher) for a considerible amount of time. Luckily for Upton Upon Severn a large amount of money had been spent of flood defences. This is shot standing in the middle of the main road through Upton Upon Severn.
