Proton-M, part rotated to the vertical position
Kazakhstan

October 14 at 12:37 Moscow time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to start Proton-M with the upper stage Breeze-M and telecommunication spacecraft Intelsat 23.


According to cyclogram flight at 12:46 Moscow time was divested head unit (upper stage Breeze-M and Intelsat 23) from the third stage of the launch vehicle.

Intelsat 23 mission was the eighth Proton launch of 2012 and the 380-Proton flight overall. This is the sixth year for the commercial mission and 75 ILS Proton mission since the Proton April 1996 first commercial flight. Intelsat is the fifth satellite launched with Proton. In addition, Intelsat 23 fifth-orbit satellite launched by Proton.
