Wadi Daerhu cleaves through the Diksum plateau, and the valley has long served as a conduit for camel caravans travelling between the north and south coasts.

The view is spectacular, and I was lucky with the weather and the light. Down below, there is a glimpse of the rock pools that await as a reward for clambering into the wadi.
