Wallduern - Castle Road

Walldürn in Odenwald Forest is known for the pilgrimage blood miracle of Walldürn. In 1330, a priest is said to have knocked over a wine goblet, whereupon the image of the crucified Christ appeared on the altar cover. Every year, about 100,000 pilgrims visit the pilgrimage to worship the shrine with the cloth. The panorama was created a few steps from the basilica.
