Holy Trinity Church
Warsaw

This is the gem of Polish Baroque art. The church is an 18th century foundation of Bishop Marcin Załuski, member of one of the most influential families in the contemporary Poland. Painting decorations, impressive in their size, probably did not fit in the interior of the church, as they also cover its external walls. On the outside, the Gethsemane Chapel was added to the presbytery. The church’s location is unique: its back faces the city and the vast façade offers best view from the side of the forest.
