An der Freihafen-Elbbrücke in Hamburg / Old Harbour-Bridge in Hamburg
Hamburg

The Freihafenelbbrücke originated in 1916-1917 or in 1926, because a structurally separate crossing of the Elbe also for the traffic was necessary for the free port. The 471-m-long bridge borders immediately on the railway bridge. She owns beside three lanes also a separate railroad track of the Hamburg harbour railway and was conceived 2-storey to be able to take up a planned underground distance by the free port area to Steinwerder which wasn't realised, nevertheless, up to now.

More About Hamburg

Hamburg: Second largest city of Germany, situated in the north at the river Elbe, because of the seaport well known as a city of merchants. Because of the nearby sea, you will always have some fresh breeze while you are walking through the streets with nice private town-houses or while you are floating along aboard an “Alsterdampfer” on the river Alster.
