In spite of being almost 1200 Meters high the Hinterwaldkopf is one of the less known hills in southern black forest - mostly due to it's neighborhood to Feldberg, the highest black forest hill which can be seen in the south. Nevertheless it provides a beautiful lookout and a nice walk from the Höfner Hütte.
