Also known as Tonopah Dunes, the Crescent Dunes are located on the edge of the Big Smoky Valley north of Tonopah, Nevada. It consists of this main dune that is over 200 feet high followed by a series of smaller dunes to the north. This area is popular with off-highway vehicles. The Crescent Dunes Solar Panel Project looms in the background.
