View from a fire lookout station over Crater Lake, Oregon. It is a pretty good hike up the hill, but the fantastic view makes it all worth it. The fire lookout appears to still be operational, but nobody was there while I was up on the hill. The glass walls, so conducive to seeing all around, also allow for an interesting view inside. . .

Crater Lake is a snow melt filled volcano crater in south central Oregon, USA. The water is very pure and awsomely blue. It is the deepest Lake in the USA at 1946 feet.
