Late in automn I walked from Grindelwald to Wengen crossing the Kleine Scheidegg, more or less following the Grindelwald - Wengernalpbahn.
Here is the station Kleine Scheidegg. The red trains of the Jungfraujochbahn go from here (6,762 ft) up to the highest train station in Europe at the Jungfraujoch (11,332 ft) - Top of Europe You find more information about the gauge rack railway line in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungfraubahn
