Imogene Falls is located on the eastern side of the Sawtooth National Wilderness Area, Custer County, Idaho, USA.  The falls are about 800 feet (244m) upstream from the Imogene Lake inlet from Mushroom Lake.  The majority of the 5.5 mile (8.9km) hike here is on a well maintained hiking trail starting at the service road up Hell Roaring Canyon.  The total elevation change of the hike is 1,270 feet (387m).

This image was taken on October 28, 2011. The best time for visiting in summer weather is August through October.  Because of the easy access, the falls are frequently visited by hikers and equestrian travelers.
