Rapel lake is a located artificial dam in I SAW Region of the General Liberator Bernardo O' Higgins. It is located between the Mountain range of the Coast, in the denominated coastal dry land. This lake feeds the Rapel River, that is formed as well by the union of the Rivers Cachapoal and Tinguiririca. It was created with the purpose of to feed the Hydroelectric Power station Rapel.
