The sense of divine call and commissioning of the Mar Thoma community at Ernakulam to serve the society has led to the formation of Mar Thoma Educational Society, Kochi, (registered under the Travancore-Kochi literary, scientific and Charitable society Act XIII of 1995). The Mar Thoma Public School is the result of long cherished dream of the Society to start a co-educational, English Medium school maintaining the highest standards in the upbringing of children irrespective of their religion, caste and creed. The school is managed by the Society and its elected representatives under the auspicious leadership of its Chief Patron (Diocesan Bishop) & Manager (A Priest appointed by the Chief Patron).
