This Somerset village has a history going back a thousand years. Local iron ore and coal mines led to it being a centre for the manufacture of metal agricultural implements until the early part of the 20th Century.
An 18th Century Lord of the Manor was Jack Horner was possibly the subject of the nursery rhyme 'Little Jack Horner'. The village's present claim-to-fame is Formula 1 driver, Jenson Button - a local lad.
Every Easter Monday, the village hosts a Daffodil Fayre, which attracts hoards of visitors.
