This is the Abbey Church in Thorn. Thorn is a town in the province of Limburg. It is known as the White Town for its white houses in the center.
This church is the only remnant of the Abbey complex, initially as a nunnery founded by a certain Count Ansfried and his wife Hilsondis.
The former abbey church is with its baroque interior, choir parties and two crypts a unique building. In the eastern crypt are relics and a famous mummy. On the women's choir and the chapter house, are the church treasures exhibited.
