The Béara Peninsula is located in the south west of Ireland – between Bantry Bay and a bay called Kenmare River. It is famous for its scenic landscapes. The tourist trail going round the peninsula is called Ring of Béara. South of the parish of Allihies you can overlook the Ballydonegan Bay.
