The Simplon Road, today reworked to adapt it to modern exigencies, is fascinating for its history and for the beauty of the landscapes which, so much different from each other, follow one other without interruption from the Po Valley to the Vallese territory (today the Vallese is the Swiss canton bordering with France and Italy).
