Art installation constructed of automotive parts in Slab City. The site is the location of an abandoned Marine Corps base from the 1940’s, now a mostly unregulated area in the Sonoran Desert of Imperial County east of the Salton Sea. There are several art installations and murals in the area where snowbirds come for the winter. The construction here, I was told, is by a group called Night Riders.
