Delta of the Smith River into the Pacific Ocean near the town of Smith River, California.  The Smith River is fairly short, running alongside U.S. 199 in the Klamath Mountains.  A group of sea lions lie on the edge of the sand bar across the way as well as a colony of seagulls at the ocean edge.
