Sundance Ski Resort—Top of Flathead Lift
Utah
Sundance Ski Resort is located in Provo Canyon, above the city of Provo, Utah. The resort opened under the name Timp Haven in 1944; in 1968 the land was purchased by actor Robert Redford, who eventually named the resort after the character he played in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
