Taipei 101 (TAIPEI 101) is located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan, a skyscraper, tall 509.2 m (1,671 ft), a total of 101 floors above ground floor, 5 floors underground, designed by architect CY Lee and his team designed, KTRT construction team, started in 1999, December 31, 2004 completed and opened. Its original name was Taipei International Financial Center (Taipei World Financial Center), 2003 to its present name, also known as 101 [3]. Was December 31, 2004 January 4, 2010 the day has "world's tallest building" record. In the United States the world's tallest building authority building organization Association (CTBUH) high standards set by calculation; Taipei 101 is now the world's fourth tallest building (depending spire height), the world's tallest green building, the tallest building in seismic belt loop, but also Taiwan, East Asia and the tallest building in the Pacific Rim; owns the building the world's largest damper, and global times faster landing speed elevators.
