In the northwestern corner of Bulgaria, among the slopes of Balkan mountains there is a little town, Belogradchik, surrounded by strange rock formations. There are lots of sandstone columns and rock plateaus, viewpoints. An ancient fortress takes advantage of this rocky environment.
