Photos of James Redd (1863-97) add a personal touch to his family's re-created cabin at historic Bluff Fort. Along with his brother and father he was one of the original settlers who built and traveled the Hole-in-the-Rock Road from Escalante in 1879-80. Numerous relatives still live in the area.
