Between the remains of the castle of Guimerà stands a cylindrical tower, which dominates the valley and marks from far away the presence of the town. After the consolidation works, you can now climb up to everything from where you can see a wonderful panoramic view of the area.

The castle was an important medieval fortress, the center of the whole area. The first news that we have corresponds to the s.XI; He belonged to the family of Alemany de Cervelló (s.XII), to the Castre (1343), to the Pinós under the name Castre - Pinós (1371) and to the Dukes of Híxar (1663-1683).
