In the heart of the Ciudad Perdida (Lost City) archaeological site, this terrace probably offers one of the most spectacular and unobstructed views to the wild forested mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The Tayrona people have built this citadel high up in the mountains with simple stone walls, 650 years earlier than Machu Picchu.
