A ger is a traditional Mongolian dwelling, called a yurt in other cultures. It is made of felt over a wooden frame and usually has a firepit in the centre and carpets for flooring. This hotel version lacks the firepit and has a concrete floor. 

This was the best hotel room I had in Mongolia. It wasn't the most luxurious, but the location more than made up for that!
