Træna municipality is the oldest fishing villages, with

finds from nearly 9000 years ago.

Træna Municipality is a small municipality with almost

500 inhabitants and is special with its geographic

location on the edge of the ocean.

The municipality consists of 419 islands, islets

and rock, but the permanent settlement limits

to the islands Husoy, Selvær, Sanna and Sandøysundet.

The community center is located at Husoy.
