Indian Bend Wash runs down through Scottsdale, Arizona to where it joins the Salt River in Tempe. It is developed along most of its length through the city as a park but also serves as a flood channel during times of infrequent rains. There are bike and pedestrian paths and a large area for skateboards shown in the accompanying picture.
