Tennis Pavilion. Completed in 1959, a splendid work of art appears with a fantastic ability to adapt to the surroundings, a building criticized for functionality, but impeccable in proportions and materiality. Stresses the trends of modern international architecture, and the strong traditions of traditional Portuguese architecture with a touch of Japanese architecture. Távora assumes the influence of Asian architecture in some alterations in the work, not only in the Pavilion but also in other interventions in Quinta da Conceição.
