During World War II while approaching Otechestvennoly nemtsky troops to Leningrad from the cruiser "Aurora", which stood in the harbor Oranienbaum shot nine guns. Their set on a black mountain, there have been equipped with the position. When the Germans entered the Dudergof, the battery is left without cover for the infantry and was destroyed by the enemy.
