Agongdian Reservoir is on the Agongdian River at the intersection of the Yanchao District, Gangshan District and Tianliao District of Kaohsiung City, with a major function of flood prevention; it is also used for irrigation. Looking down from the Siaogang Mountain to the west of the reservoir, one may see the attractive landscape of lakes and mountains. The distant mountains and close-up scenes weave to form a pleasant and refreshing picture.
