On Christmas Eve 2012, about 100 carolers gathered at Riverdale Farm in Cabbagetown to sing carols and celebrate Christmas. Riverdale Farm is a historic sight that has been maintained to give city folk an idea of farm life 100 years ago. The event is called "Babe in the Barn" and features a nativity scene with live animals. Fodor's devotes a small paragraph to the event.
