Cliffs of Moher - O’Brien’s Tower
Ireland
At the southwestern coast of the Burrens in County Clare the Cliffs of Moher (Aillte an Mhothair) rise up to a height of 214 m. When visiting the cliffs take your time. The visitor center that is built into a hill slope is worth a visit. This tower marks the highest part of the cliffs. Sir Cornellius O`brien had it built in 1835 for Victorian tourists.
