Murren is a lovely car-free mountain village near Interlaken, Switzerland.  It is located on a cliffside overlooking a valley with 72 waterfalls, including Staubbachfall,  the biggest waterfall in Switzerland, and provides stunning views of the surrounding Alps, including Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger.

As the town is car-free, it is also a lovely place to walk around and to absorb the stunning views and to look at the houses built in traditional Swiss architecture.
