The picturesque Nyhavn with its beautiful old houses along the canal with wooden ships were once the "dangerous" part of the harbour where the sailors would let go after month at sea.

Today the tourists and the citizens of Copenhagen enjoy the lively and colourful café and restaurant atmosphere nearly all the time, day and night.
