Alex Morgan is a Philadelphia composer, photographer and junk sculptor.  His elegant assemblages are held together, for the most part, by nothing but gravity -- the exception being certain weight-bearing springs that animate some of them.  That delicacy makes them difficult to move and easy to damage; but Alex is always ready to reassmble them from memory (sometimes aided by photos).  This is the exhibition room of his studio in Germantown.
