On the path around the Mattmarksee alpine lake, Saastal Valley, Switzerland, we find, right at the beginning, an engraving paying homage to the workers building the Mattmark Dam, which can be seen in this panorama.

In the construction of the dam, more than 1300 people worked. Everything went according to plan until 1965.
