Carev Most is located on the way out of Nikšić, on the old road to Podgorica which passes through Pandurica.
Carev Most is one of the most beautiful bridges in Montenegro. It was constructed in 1896, while some sources cite 1894 as the year of its construction. Carev Most was the biggest construction project from that period. It was built with the support of the Russian Emperor Alexander III after whom the bridge was named. The plans for the construction of the bridge over Slivlje were developed by Josip Slade, at the request of Prince Nikola. This magnificent bridge was built of quarried stone, at a length of 269 meters, and over 13 meters high in the middle. The bridge was constructed on arches supported by 18 piers.
