Plots (27) on zinc mining waste deposits (Naracauli, Ingurtosu, Sardinia) after being planted or seeded 6 month earlier with Euphorbia and irrigated as part of the EU Umbrella project. Besides 3 control plots, the waste of 24 plots was first mixed with bacteria, fungi, and/or transformed bauxite refinery residue (ViroMine, reddish color). The effect of additives on plant growth was defined by measuring height, mass, metal concentration and plant metabolism.
