Dedicated to the Nª Srª da Soledade instituted in 1546 by Commander Fernão Brandão and his wife, C. Fagundes. It is accessed by a perfect round arch with rounded edges and volute closing stone, bearing the date of 1547, flanked by two fluted pilasters, the one on the left with a capital decorated by a bird and the one on the right, with a stylized shell, revealing later work; on the cornice, a frieze has the inscription: "THIS C (nickname) A MA (n DOV MAKE FERNÃ BR / ANDÃ AND SVA WOMAN C (atarin) FAGV (n) TEN" and, in the center, a stone of arms. Interior with descending access through three steps, revealing, certainly, the primitive dimension of the church, it has a granite flagstone floor, plastered walls and a vaulted roof with ribs decorated by anthropomorphic figures. On the sides it has arches with tombs bearing inscriptions, Gospel with a hollow bottom communicating with the Chapel of the Most Holy.
