On the 27th February 2011 the people of Sharm El Sheikh came together in Naama Bay to celebrate the "new" Egypt after the end of the Egyptian Revolution and to promote tourism in the area. Hundreds of people joined in a huge street festival, preceded by a motorcycle and car convoy through the city, followed by a show on stage with dancers and singers - the atmosphere was absolutely electric!!!
