Gigapixel view from the summit of Hart Mountain (elev. 6,806') in a remote area near Vya, Nevada. The mountain is easily accessible from County Road 34 & provides a good view of the Great Basin desert region in the northwestern corner of the state. Much of the scenery is quite non-descript, volcanic in origin w/ mesas. One can catch a distant glimpse of the snowy Warner Mountains to the northwest in California. The summit even housed a summit register w/ few entries.
