Hydropower Fabric district is a unique element in the landscape architecture industry in Timisoara. Designed by architect Laszlo Szeckely plan included an architectural ensemble consisting of a super body, like a tower, a wing located on the left bank of Bega and a wing that extends over the water.

To mark the centenary microhidrocentralei Bega Canal, SC Colterm organizes, from May 10 to 13, open day Hydroelectric Plant Timisoara Fabric district. "Water Plant"was built in May 3, 1910 after the then chief project engineer of the city, Emil Szilard. This is one of the first hydroelectric plant built in Europe and the first central-type hydroelectric dam built on the present territory of Romania.
